19 May 2026 the PIMEE NAS of Ukraine team successfully conducted the Tier 1 Stress Test within the #AGILE_EU project in Kyiv, Ukraine

For us, this was much more than just a project activity. It was a day we had been preparing for with great care, and it was truly meaningful to finally welcome our stakeholders and see the Ukrainian case study come to life.
The Ukrainian stress test focused on the system of culture and cultural heritage. Together with our participants, we explored how access to culture and the preservation of cultural heritage can be supported during crises, especially under high-impact, low-probability events.
The workshop was very practical and interactive. Participants worked with scenario cards, built crisis situations, discussed possible consequences, and reflected on hidden vulnerabilities, interdependencies, cascading effects and coordination challenges. Each group presented very interesting and original scenarios, and the final discussion showed how valuable this format can be for looking at risks from a system perspective.
We are sincerely grateful to all stakeholders who joined us, actively participated and shared their experience, ideas and practical perspectives. Despite all the uncertainties, including the air alarm in Kyiv in the morning, the workshop took place successfully, and this made the day even more special for us
Huge thanks to our AGILE coordination team and to all project partners for their guidance, support and trust throughout the preparation process.
We are proud of our team, grateful to our participants, and happy that the AGILE journey in Ukraine has reached this important milestone.
